Alanis Morissette still has all the star power and stage presence of the Jagged Little Pill days

I haven't written a live review since the opening night of the Kate Bush comeback shows at Hammersmith Apollo in 2014, so forgive me if I am a little rusty. It's also been a good few years since I was at a show as big as this one, and not just because of the pandemic, but the prospect of seeing both Alanis Morissette and Beth Orton in one night was too good to pass up. As a celebration of 25 (+2) years of Jagged Little Pill, this show ticked all of the boxes. Alanis's voice is still an absolute force. More thoughts over at The Line of Best Fit.

In Copenhagen, Alanis Morissette proves her enduring appeal goes way beyond nostalgia
Kicking off the twice-delayed European leg of her 25th – make that 27th – anniversary tour of Jagged Little Pill in Denmark, Alanis Morissette ran through the entirety of the album.
"Twenty-seven years of swallowing it down and Jagged Little Pill still has the power to be as jarring and uncomfortable as it is nostalgic and anthemic."
