The grande dames of Grace Jones' Meltdown give London a week to remember

What incredible luck to time a solo visit back home to London with the return of the Southbank Centre's venerable Meltdown festival after two pandemic-axed years. I had forgotten it was happening and had made some other plans. But the chance to see Grace Jones, Meshell Ndegeocello, Oumou Sangaré and Angélique Kidjo in the space of a few days at some of London's best concert spaces? You'd better believe I dropped everything to be there. These women have almost 50 albums between them and their artistry and influence is truly immeasurable. Thank you to The Line of Best Fit for publishing!
