Alice Boman's music lives in a cocooned world of intimate emotions. Her songs are not always immediately gripping. Just as Boman sings about herself, they take time to open up. Once they do, though, it's hard to forget them. I've found myself returning over and over again to her 2020 debut Dream On, and her new album The Space Between is proving to be just as sticky.
